While many believe the ideal time to list your home for sale is in the summer, the truth is that selling your home in the winter can be just as great. But like any other time of the year, it's in your best interest to present your home in its best light. This is where beautiful staging and professional real estate photography plays an important role.

Sometimes the best shoots can take place in the simplest locations. It is our job to provide the "eye" for you in order to create stunning memories!
Looking to do a family photo shoot in the New Jersey, Philadelphia area? Reach out to us for a quote, we would love to help! www.savidgemedia.com The picture above is from an event that we photographed today. The Spellbound Century bike race event, which took place in Mount Holly, New Jersey. The collected proceeds benefits the Mount Holly School District Parent/Teacher Organizations and much more. The reason we are bringing up this event is because we had a chance to really explore how well the new Sony A7III camera holds up and we were not disappointed!
Without going into too much detail, we wanted to point out what we enjoyed about this camera. First, the 24 megapixels. The detail that this camera captures is amazing! What you see above has been edited, but it is not far off from what came straight out of the camera. Which leads us to our next "pro," the colorization. We love Sony's color tones that come straight out of the camera. We believe that the tones are a little on the warmer side, but makes for an easy edit in post. Next, the 693 points of auto focus. Specifically, the joystick! The joystick makes selecting focus so much easier and we do not think we could live without it. Lastly, the battery life. Battery life has greatly improved with this camera and we were able to shoot everything on one battery. We were there for 8 hours, but our shooting was intermittent. Even though it was intermittent, we were still impressed! Sony's A7III crushed it this year, keeping companies like Canon and Nikon on their toes playing catch-up. Let's see what the competition brings for the back half of 2018! If you are considering an A7III, but are hesitant on pulling the trigger, we can confidently say that we definitely approve. "A picture's worth a thousand words." This phrase refers to the idea that a picture can give you as much information as a written text with many words. This is true, but we do not want it to be that simple. We take pictures to make you think, wonder, and imagine. We take pictures to describe a story, your story! Capturing the emotions of your wedding or event is crucial to your story and it is our job to make sure we take the pictures that will last you a lifetime.
When it comes to videography, it is great for instant satisfaction of a moment because you get to watch how the story plays out. However, with photography it is great for doing that same thing, but leaving room for the imagination. As you start to search for a photographer, yes, they may have beautiful photos, but focus on the story. YOUR story. So, what's with the photo above? Well, it's summer time, but more importantly, it's a test! A test to get you to think. Look at the details of the photo. How long is the pier? Why is the person bending over like that? What does the seagull see? Is there a storm forming or just cloudy? That is the beauty of a photo. Allow yourself to create a story. Hire someone who will bring out the most of your day, hire someone to tell your story. Savidge Media LLC is not just a videography company, we do photos too! We do formal events, social events, photoshoots, headshots, beach shoots etc. If you do not see a package that you're looking for, do not hesitate to reach out to us! We can customize a package for your exact needs. We love being creative, and we love creative clients. We are very open to new ideas!
