2018 was a very good year for us! We were able to take on new projects, upgrade equipment, and serve amazing clients. Two projects stand out to us when looking back and you can see them linked below. Nash is one of the brightest new singer/songwriter talents in R&B. We shot Don't Panic in Camden, New Jersey with a little help from the Eastcoast Streetburners who had incredible bikes that gave the video such a creative look! IDFWU feat. Shady Ray & Ukno Tha Don was shot in Philadelphia, PA, which was a challenge to edit, but a very fun process. Nash is not slowing down in the year 2019! Keep an eye out for more videos and all of his music available on all streaming platforms.

We wrapped a shoot recently for Roscato Wine in South Jersey. Thank you to Barberz Inc. for allowing us to use the shop for our first scene. Also, a big thank you to Maxi's Bar in Philadelphia for our second scene. This photo was taken with the Sony A7iii that had a Tamron 28-75mm lens attached.

The Carriage House, located in Galloway, New Jersey, has a great reception area for guests. The tables are evenly separated with room to walk and a dance floor that makes dancing...well...comfortable! Also, making it easier for vendors like photographers and videographers to get into the crowd to get those close-up shots!
Furthermore, The Carriage House provides spacious bride and groom suites, which include a balcony in case you need to grab some fresh air! Keep an eye out in the near future for a highlight video of this venue.

Attention South Jersey!! Fall is around the corner and you don't want to miss out on these local, handcrafted decor pieces! Check out our latest promo video that took place in Pitman, NJ.
The picture above is from an event that we photographed today. The Spellbound Century bike race event, which took place in Mount Holly, New Jersey. The collected proceeds benefits the Mount Holly School District Parent/Teacher Organizations and much more. The reason we are bringing up this event is because we had a chance to really explore how well the new Sony A7III camera holds up and we were not disappointed!
Without going into too much detail, we wanted to point out what we enjoyed about this camera. First, the 24 megapixels. The detail that this camera captures is amazing! What you see above has been edited, but it is not far off from what came straight out of the camera. Which leads us to our next "pro," the colorization. We love Sony's color tones that come straight out of the camera. We believe that the tones are a little on the warmer side, but makes for an easy edit in post. Next, the 693 points of auto focus. Specifically, the joystick! The joystick makes selecting focus so much easier and we do not think we could live without it. Lastly, the battery life. Battery life has greatly improved with this camera and we were able to shoot everything on one battery. We were there for 8 hours, but our shooting was intermittent. Even though it was intermittent, we were still impressed!
Sony's A7III crushed it this year, keeping companies like Canon and Nikon on their toes playing catch-up. Let's see what the competition brings for the back half of 2018! If you are considering an A7III, but are hesitant on pulling the trigger, we can confidently say that we definitely approve.
"A picture's worth a thousand words." This phrase refers to the idea that a picture can give you as much information as a written text with many words. This is true, but we do not want it to be that simple. We take pictures to make you think, wonder, and imagine. We take pictures to describe a story, your story! Capturing the emotions of your wedding or event is crucial to your story and it is our job to make sure we take the pictures that will last you a lifetime.
When it comes to videography, it is great for instant satisfaction of a moment because you get to watch how the story plays out. However, with photography it is great for doing that same thing, but leaving room for the imagination. As you start to search for a photographer, yes, they may have beautiful photos, but focus on the story. YOUR story.
So, what's with the photo above? Well, it's summer time, but more importantly, it's a test! A test to get you to think. Look at the details of the photo. How long is the pier? Why is the person bending over like that? What does the seagull see? Is there a storm forming or just cloudy? That is the beauty of a photo. Allow yourself to create a story. Hire someone who will bring out the most of your day, hire someone to tell your story.

As wedding videographers, we are not always sure what we are getting into with some venues until we arrive. Unless, of course, we have already been there or scouted the venue before the wedding. Doolan's Shore Club in Spring Lake, NJ was a beautiful location for a wedding. Not only was it beautiful, it was vendor friendly. What does that mean? Basically, it had a great layout! We did not feel cramped at any point and there was plenty of room to setup equipment while not interfering with other vendors.
Ashley and Greg definitely picked a great spot and it made for a wonderful highlight video.
Savidge Media LLC strives to make your experience about YOU and not us, but how? First, we understand customer service, especially when it comes to communication. We receive many compliments on how quickly we respond to questions and inquiries. If you hire us than we are now a team, and a team can not function without communication. Secondly, we invest in professional equipment to better serve our clients. We own Manfrotto tripods and fluid heads for strong build quality and precision shots. Professional audio devices for clear and crisp sounds. We own the Birdy-cam Lite, a 5-axis gimbal, that keeps the camera still and takes out the shake for a beautiful filming experience. We own Lumix and Sony camera products that all have full HD and 4K quality. We also have professional lighting equipment for photo and video and much, much more!
Lastly, we have the knowledge and experience to better serve YOUR needs. We are not the "old dogs who can't learn new tricks," type of company; rather, the company that has the new tricks. We are constantly learning and researching ways to provide our clients with the best experience possible.
Savidge Media is based out of South Jersey serving the tri-state area. We hope to hear from you soon! Thanks for visiting!
The Temple University chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America's "Play with Purpose," event was held at the Smith Memorial Playground in Philadelphia, PA, where children came and enjoyed several activities. Many activities, such as face painting, yoga, coloring, dancing, and much more! This event was held to advocate children with cancer.
Not only was this event free to the public, but Philadelphia's own Philly Phanatic showed up to surprise guests!
